I have attached a link which shows 2 R Welsh on Telic 10. The Commanding Officer at the time was Lt Col Swift OBE, it is his voice you hear on the comentry. It was a demanding tour which tested us all.

Of course, what Dai omits to mention was that it was his stores that were blown up ......a couple of days before a board of officers kit check. There is no truth in the rumour that around the same time, the ammo store was missing a couple of pounds of PE, some det cord and a Number 6 detonator.
Seriously, I have spoken to a good few of the boys who did that tour. They did well as their awards list showed.o7You cannot fight a war with one hand tied behind your back.
