    Major BERNARD CHARLES CALLADENE415727, Royal Army Ordnance CorpsKilled in action, age 39, on 30 March 1972Killed by a car bomb that he was inspecting in central Belfast.Earlier that day he had defused a 150lb bomb at Belfast MagistratesCourt. He left a widow and three children.

    He is laid to rest at Fulford Cemetery Yorkshire!

      Without question. He insisted on going to that one himself, as similar devices had killed two of his men previously.
      To say that his sort are 'heroes' seems superfluous.

          Some confusion as to actual date1 some say 29th! The incident happened on 29th , he passed away the next day! I believe palace barracks have 29th! ??
