ON THIS DAY IN 1972, KINGSMAN RENNIE LAYFIELD WAS SHOT DEAD BY A SNIPER AT THE JUNCTION OF FALLS ROAD AND BEECHMOUNT AVENUE. OUR THOUGHTS ARE FOR HIS FAMILY AND FORMER COMRADES.
