      We will remember them.

Maggie, just a small point. The spelling of the officer's surname is SOMERVELL just in case you were looking for him in our ROH. We have his last resting place as Mayfield Churchyard in Mayfield but there are two Mayfields, one in Staffordshire and the other in East Sussex. I am at present trying to find out which one is correct so that some time in the future a NIVA member can visit and pay respects.
Unfortunately, we have no location for Cpl Powell.

We will not forget them or the sacrifice they made.

Be who you are and say what you feel...
Because those that matter, don't mind.

                Jock2413 Hi,

The spelling is correct as I wrote. He was my troop leader for a while and a great officer. How his driver survived we were all amazed. I am unsure of his final resing place but would thgink East Sussex would be more appropriate.

I believe Cpl David Powell was returned to Stoke on Trent.

                Thank you for your concerns

Maggy, as to the spelling, I will obviously take your word for that as you knew him personally. I will make the appropriate change to our ROH (which will show after the next update) and inform the AFM and any others that they have the spelling wrong as well. Sorry for that mistake.
Also, thanks for the leads on where those lads are laid to rest. It will make things a lot easier for me now. When I find them, I will let you know mate.
