    Remembering my mate Jock Laurie, murdered by terrorists on this day in Belfast 1971. He was the second soldier killed by terrorist action and from the same Regiment as the first 9 days earlier .... Gnr Bob Curtis.
    Rest easy mate. I'll be up to visit you later this year.

          Jock, your wording "Rest easy mate. I'll be up to visit you later this year", hopefully is a statement of intent to visit a grave and not an indication of terminal illness or similar?.

            We will not forget him Jock. , 25 RA were still settling in on return from Sek Kong, HK, little knowing that before the end of June we would be over there.

              You won't get rid of me that easily. I've got a journey planned for later this year that will take in as many of the Scottish Op Banner graves that we know of. It will also be a bit of nostalgia as I will also be visiting Barry Buddon where my parents ashes are scattered. My father was ex Para and this was where he did his qualifying jumps.
