Be who you are and say what you feel...
Because those that matter, don't mind.
And those that mind, don't matter!

I was on Basic Avionics at Wallop when this happened....not long afterwards there was some sort of family fun day on the airfield. I was on QRF. The guard commander and QRF commander were both booties on pilot training....to say they were fuming is putting it politely....
They ordered the pick axe handles put away, broke out the live ammo and bombed everybody up.....” No effin’ scumbag was going to do anything on their watch”
Spent the next 12 hours riding around in the back of a landy, racing around parts of Middle Wallop I never knew existed, loaded to the max, only stopping for some scoff....the only time I remember carrying an SLR with live ammunition on main land Britain.
