Copied from facebook 2RGJ lads. It’s with great sadness that I have to tell you all of the passing of Rfn Kelys Herbert… late 7plt B Coy in Gib and the South Armagh tour, (75-79). Kelys passed away last night peacefully at home with his family with him.
Many of you will remember him as the best friend of Nick Smith who was tragically killed in XMG. This is something that Kelys lived with all his life and he never forgot his great mate. RIP mate.. reunited with Smiffy at last ,
