On 24th Oct 1972 my brother died in Woolwich military hospital, after being critically injured 10 days earlier by a booby trap bomb which exploded when he was on patrol in Armargh. I will never forget that time, sometimes it seems like yesterday, it never gets any easier. He was one of the most decent people I have ever known, loved his army life, his family and was good fun to be with. I will always miss him. Rest peacefully my lovely brother.
