    28 November

It is time once again to remember Gnr Paul 'Jacko' Jackson who died this day in 1972 so 41 years on he is not forgotten.I have oft documented that day,how we were chatting and laughing before we went to our seperate duties, killed by an i e d before lunchtime. I have looked back through the pages and cannot find previous postings about Jacko except one I made on the 35 anniversary. Must be here somewhere I suppose i just cannot find them.
I have not forgotten mate that I promised you a beer, still owe you that.

    RIP fellow gunner.
Be who you are and say what you feel...
Because those that matter, don't mind.
And those that mind, don't matter!

When we march on our parades,it is not to glorify war but to remember all who did not come home.

I missed this all together this year as far as coming here is concerned anyway, I was in toowoomba helping my daughter who was unwell and needed mum and dad, I am sure Jacko would understand, he was a father as well.
