  • 3 more killed in Afghanistan

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20090807/...s-dba1618.html

3 More killed in an IED attack, 4th in critical condition. According to our Government there is no need for more Helicopters in Afghanistan, I wonder if the person who made that declaration would be willing to back it up by sending their nearest and dearest on Vehicle Patrols in Afghanistan. I've just had a conversation with a friend from the Parachute Regiment who has said that the fatalities due to IED's outweighs the Gunshot Fatalities by 90%. That percentage is ridiculous, more Helicopters, right now, or put your actions where your mouth is and get driving around Afghanistan Mr Brown.

RIP Paratroopers. Good luck and speedy recovery to the wounded Soldier.

They were part of the Special Forces Support Group Trebor, not quite SAS/SBS but working closely alongside them.
