I will then "stick" the thread to stop it disappearing amongst the other stuff.

This is true. Jock & all the others that spend countless hours updating & collating information all do a fantastic job.

Apparently not...they haven't been able to lay hands on him since he broke out of Colchester

Got sent out for a driving assesment as soon as I got posted back to blighty. Drove a 'knocker' all the way from Chatham to Colchester and couldnt believe how many feckin double roundybouts there were. Have you ever driven a tenny while standing up so you could change gear with one hand while rapidly throwing the wheel round in alternate directions with the other and wishing you had three more hands to control the hindimacators and make the turns easier on the human-power assisted steering and another to hold your fag and coffee. I were fair sweatin' when we got out of there and the MTO was having a good snigger. Took me out for five minutes next day on test for Class 2 HGV and a week later for my Class 1. Bloody good bloke he was. Made I larf a lot. WO11 (call me Derek) Runciman. Top man.

Taking me a lot longer than I thought what with all the cross referencing. Only as far as May 1973 but as you can see, quite a few were found up till then.
                    I'll have another go tonight.
