Cpl James Oldman - aged 39
4th Bn. Ulster Defence Regiment - D Coy (Part Time).
Jimmy was the manager of a hardware company and was shot by IRA gunmen as he arrived for work. The gunmen ordered his thirteen-year-old cousin out of the car before opening fire. Three IRA gunmen had taken over a nearby house, holding the family hostage overnight until Jimmy arrived for work the next morning. He was single and off duty at the time of his murder.
