Pte Raymond Hall. Aged 22. 1st Bn The Green Howards
Shot while trying to control rioting at the junction of the Newtownards Road and Welland Street, Belfast.
He died in Hospital 4 weeks later on the 05.03.1973.

I was in BAOR by then and away from it.
I grew older while he did not, but I get time with grandkids now that he can never have. We will not forget.

I can remember the incident, I was further up the road when we heard that there was a contact.
