SCPL John Richard TUCKER RHG/D was killed today in a Blue on Blue in Londonderry (25/02/1979).
John came from Harrow Middlesex. He was born on the 05 January 1947.
HE was married to Anne and they had one son. John was 32 when he was killed . He lays at pest in St James Parish Church Bushey Herts.
Also injured on that day was LCoh David Mellor who was on the danger list for some time. He return to Regt Duty . He now works for the NAAFI.

Anne was remarried in the summer of 1983 to Mike Harding. Mike is now a Lt (QM) Col with the RHG/D (ERE posting ).

John I still remeber being told of your death and how it happen.

Today I will raise a glass to absent Friends .

The Blues and Royals
