"On 29th January 1974 at 11.30pm Reserve Constable Baggley, aged 43 and a colleague were on beat patrol at Waterside, Londonderry. While returning to their station by the Dungiven Road, gunmen opened fire on them both, Reserve Constable Baggley was shot and fatally injured."
