    1st Rifles Lad killed on Monday 8th

    A British soldier has been killed in an explosion while on foot patrol in southern Afghanistan.
    The soldier from 1 Rifles, serving in 3 Rifles Battle Group, was killed on Sunday afternoon in the Sangin area of Helmand province.
